Obituary

Obituary of Frank P. Pepe…husband, father & grandfather.

Frank P. Pepe, 82, Originally of Brooklyn, NY residing in Wellington, FL said his last goodbyes entering into eternal rest on Monday, June 5th 2023.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Paula Pepe, as well as his only child Jon P. Pepe and his two grandchildren Katelyn & Logan living in Boynton Beach, FL.

Frank was born on April 23rd 1941 in Brooklyn to his parents Gaetano Pepe & Loretta Delustro-Pepe.  He had two younger brothers James & Richie.  As a teenager, he spent most of his time helping out his father with his trucking business hoping to one day run it with him.  Unfortunately, at a young age his dad passed when Frank was only 17, and he decided to enlist in the Navy where he proudly served his country and toured the world.  After his discharge, Frank spent many years in the trucking industry doing everything from Sales & Traffic Management to having his own trucking business with a few of his own trucks. With his love of travel, he always had his wife & son road tripping and flying around the country during school & summer breaks buying a 27-acre farm in Virginia for those 3-Day Weekend Get Aways. His son left the nest after high school, also joining the Navy and eventually moving to Florida where Frank eventually settled down again with Paula.  Before he retired, he spent over a decade in New York and Florida Selling & Servicing Karcher Pressure Washers as the SE Regional Rep. Over the 59 years of marriage, they were fortunate enough to travel both the country and world whenever possible making the most of a limited budget.

Frank was always all about family.  He had a knack of being the life of the party, and for many years him & Paula hosted numerous Family Reunions & Cousins Parties with hundredths of guests. These gatherings were usually talked about for years to come.  His cousins were more like brothers & sisters, and he would do anything for them, his siblings and his family. He was a great husband and father, always there for them both.  He always supported is only child Jon in everything he did. As a grandparent, he was no different…his wife, child & his two grandchildren were everything and everything he did illustrated his deep love of his family!  He is greatly missed by all mentioned, and most likely by others that weren't.  If you knew Frank Pepe, you know what you are missing!

In lieu of flowers, during these hard times his surviving wife of 59 years and family is in great need for financial assistance to cover funeral and living expenses and ask of you to donate to Paula Pepe at 11887 Foxbriar Lake Trail, Boynton Beach, FL 33473 if at all possible, every dollar is appreciated.

Funeral & Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, June 30th 2023 at noon at the Palm Beach National Chapel on 441 with the address as 10055 Heritage Farms Road, Lake Worth, FL 33449.  After the mass, viewing & lunch we will drive next door to the South Florida National Cemetery where he will be buried with Military Honors. We have a scheduled mass, so everyone attending please be there on time. If possible, message the family with RSVP's so food preparation can be planned.
