Obituary

Frances Ann Perrotta, of Wellington, Florida, died peacefully at home on December 6, 2016. She was 76 years old.

Born and raised in Whitestone, New York, Fran was the oldest daughter of Frederic and Evelyn Witzmann. As a young woman, she worked at Prudential Insurance Company, where she met her future husband, and soul mate, Nicholas. Fran and Nick spent twenty-five wonderful years together, until Nick's death in 1988, and they raised three daughters in Fran's childhood home. Fran later worked in the corporate cards division of American Express, where she was recognized with an award for outstanding service. She retired to Florida in 1993.

Throughout her life, Fran's unwavering Roman Catholic faith was a constant source of strength, peace and joy. Fran truly was a person who was loved by all. Without exception, she touched everyone she met with her incredible kindness, generosity and selflessness. She always put others needs ahead of her own.

Fran was also known for her quirky sense of humor and love of life. She loved the beach, the desert, bingo and casino. She enjoyed conversation with everyone she came in contact with. She always saw the good in others and treated everyone like family. Although she was distraught when she lost the love of her life, she forced herself to go on with the love and support of her daughters and "sons", three grandchildren, "grand-doggies", sister, nieces, nephews, and family friends. She especially cherished the time spent caring for and guiding her grandchildren into mature young adults.

Later in life, Fran suffered from a variety of serious medical conditions, each of which she faced with her characteristic grace and acceptance, and a spirit that was both inspirational and indomitable.

Fran is survived by her three daughters: Lyn Sarna and her husband Dominic, and their daughter Nikolette (Niki), of New York; Frances Picciano and her husband Nicholas, and their children Nicholas (Nicky) and Taylor (Tay Tay), of Wellington, with whom Fran resided; and, Pamela Marino and her husband Christopher of New York; as well as a sister, Evelyn Hock, of Lake Worth, and nieces and nephews in Florida and New York.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Therese de Lisieux, 11800 Lake Worth Road, Wellington, Florida 33449, on December 17, 2016, at 11:00 a.m.

Contributions in memory of Fran may be made to St. Therese de Lisieux.
