Eugene Sherman, 89, of West Palm Beach, FL passed peacefully in his home on Tuesday, August 2,2022. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Rochelle, their three children and their spouses, David Sherman and his wife Kathleen, Lisa Schapiro and her husband Ken and Steven Sherman and his wife Leah. Also left to cherish his memory are his five grandchildren, Dr. Erik Sherman, M.D.,
Dr. Samantha Schapiro, D.O. and her husband John Holland, Zachary Schapiro, J.D. and Max Sherman.

Gene was born on December 24, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York to his parents Joseph and Ida Sherman. He graduated from Weequahic High School and was drafted into service during the Korean War. He served proudly until he was discharged in 1955. He had a long career in sales & was introduced to the love of his life by his friend Marvin, who eventually became his brother in law. He married Rochelle in 1960 & together they raised their family in Union, New Jersey.

Gene was a big burly guy with the kindest most welcoming heart. He & Rochelle retired & moved to Florida in 2004. He was in his paradise, he played tennis 5 times a week & enjoyed his weekly poker game with his friends. The thing Gene adored the most was spending time with his family.
