Ethel Marie Higgins Hawkins
Ethel Marie (Higgins) Hawkins of Hodgdon, Maine and Boynton Beach Florida, joined the Legions of Angels on April 15, 2013. Ethel, daughter of Henry Higgins and Emma (Duff)Higgins was born in East Hodgdon, ME on July 21, 1924. She married the love of her life, Earl, in Sept. of 1945. They had 5 children; Wade, Marilyn, Roger, Brian and Gerald. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother as well as a generous and giving member of her church and community.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, her sister Leona, her brother Henry Jr. and a granddaughter Sarah Hawkins and grandson Thomas Anderson.
Ethel is survived by her Husband Earl and her children as well as her sisters; Alene Call, Rowena Circo, Glennice Stevens and Ardis Records. Also surviving are 10 Grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren scattered throughout the country.
A Service celebrating Ethel's life will be held April 18th, 2013 at Boynton Beach Congregational United Church of Christ at 10:30 AM.
