On the morning of Sunday, October 6, 2024, Eileen A. "Lee" James passed away at the age of 81 in the company of her children at her home in Boynton Beach, Florida. Eileen was born on September 21, 1943.  She was the youngest of three children born to Melvin and Evelyn (Smith) Crosby and sister to Donald Crosby and Glen Crosby.

Lee graduated from Melrose High School in 1961. Her business expertise led to her managing the accounting and financial departments of a number of organizations including New England Electric Motor Corporation, and TIE Commerce. Eileen started her own accounting and financial services company that she continued to operate up until the time of her passing.

Despite her business accomplishments, her favorite role by far was being a mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her children, Donald Mulrenan, Lynne (Mulrenan) Barbaro, Kevin Mulrenan and his wife Kerri and John James and his wife Vicki. She will always be remembered fondly and with love by her grandchildren Chelsey Barbaro, Cassidy Bohn, Chrysta Barbaro, Damian Stiles, Benjamin Mulrenan, Austin Mulrenan, Bailey Mulrenan, Aidan James, Emme Mulrenan, Calib James and great granddaughter Kennedy Bohn.
