Donald L. Aldrich, 71 of Lake Worth, FL. entered into eternal rest on Thursday August 17th 2023, surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer.  He is survived by his wife of 46 years Valerie, his sons Jason (Melinda) and Matthew (Cecelia). Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren Caitlin, Madeline, Lincoln, and Sean.

Don was a man of service, who served his country in the Vietnam War as a Special Forces (Green Beret) and was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star, and Purple Heart.  After returning home Don went on to help establish the Broward County EMS, met the love of his life Valerie Aldrich, and became fire certified, retiring as Battalion Chief after 30 plus years of service with the now BSO Fire Rescue.

Don was a family-oriented man, who enjoyed spending his time post-retirement traveling with his wife, golfing, and watching his favorite sports teams. He was a well-rounded individual who cherished life's pleasures.  Amidst this period, Don's family expresses their appreciation for the immense support they have been bestowed with.
