Claudine "Toby" Diamond, age 89, of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away on February 26, 2023, in her home , after a long battle with Alzh e i mer ' s .

Claudine was born on July 18, 1933 in Pahokee , Florida, a daughter to R.L. and Edith Hatcher (Groff). On August 29, 1951, she married Charles Guy "Chuck" Shoff , III and he preceded her in death on April 1, 1957 . On May 8 , 1959, she married Charl es Alan Diamond, and he preceded her in death on September 5, 2011 .

Toby was a homemaker and was active in the Christian faith, serving in various Baptist churches in the Lake Worth area. She regularly attended Palm Springs Baptist Church . She loved her feral cats and she cared for them for many years. She owned and managed several rental properties and was kind and caring towards her tenants. She loved spending time with her family and playing cards with her gir l friends .

Claudine is survived by two daughters, L . Charline Brunson (Ronnie Jordan) , of Katy, TX, and Kelley J . Jenkel (Steve) of Springvale, ME; one sister, Launa Knox -Gray , of Indian Lake Estates, FL; grandchildren, Chad Brunson (Amber) , Timothy Jenkel (T ania ), Braden Mendenhall, Mary Beth Putnam (Trey) , and Danielle Isbell (Nathan) , great-grandchildren Emerie Brunson, Ashlyn Schiller- Ramos, Adriana Ramos, Arabella Mendenhall, and Liam Isbell as well as many nieces and nephews .

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son, James Shoff , sister, Ruth Hatcher Collins, brother, Gordon Hatcher, and step-sister, Roxanne Browning.

Service will be at Palm Beach National Chapel on March 9 th at 11:30 am , followed by interment at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, F L .
