Christopher John Reed passed away on April 30th, 2025. He was born in Port Chester, New York on September 12th, 1956, growing up in the village of Mamaroneck. He attended Rye Neck High School in Mamaroneck where he graduated in 1974. He would go on to graduate from Elizabeth Seton College in 1980 studying Radio/TV production. He moved from New York to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1996, where he would meet his wife Linda and have his son Christopher in 1999. He was a dedicated father and husband. He loved his family more than anything and did everything thinking about them first. He loved his Yankees, Giants, Knicks, and Rangers and tried his best to make his son feel the same way. The Knicks couldn't quite click but otherwise he was successful. His beloved Tide Inn bar was something of legend with moments he always cherished and remembered. Every friend and family member he had knew how much he loved people and spending time talking about his sports and movies. He loved his hometown of Mamaroneck, New York, raving about the likes of Sal's Pizza, Walter's Hot Dogs, and Anthony's Deli for having the best food in the world. He also had a passion for filmmaking himself, always documenting any special moment he could and take pictures of everything that he found special. He is survived by his beloved wife Linda, his beloved son Christopher, and his favorite puppy ever Abby. He is also survived by his siblings Larry, Billy, James, Adrian, Jane, Judy, Steven, Rose Kalbfliesh, Jim Delmedico, and his 20 nieces and nephews with 31 great-nieces and nephews. He is now joining his mother Josephine, father Edward, sister Florence, and brother George Hockar who preceded him.

In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate instead that donations are made to the Children's Cancer Center or Ronald McDonald House. For those unable to attend, we will be having another celebration of life in Christopher's hometown of Mamaroneck, New York. Details will be forthcoming.
