IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles R.
Burton
April 12, 1948 – October 15, 2024
Charles R. Burton, "Grandpa or GG PA," 76, of Lake Worth, passed away on October 15, 2024. Charles proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army. He was a devoted friend and family member; he was known as everyone's go-to guy and was never handed a project that he couldn't figure out or fix; once he met someone, he knew them forever. Charles loved rebuilding and working on old cars and trucks, and his hobbies also included fishing and camping. People at work called him " Tater," and everyone else knew him as Charlie.
Charles is survived by his wife of 56 years, Florence; one daughter, Kimberly Bellace (Mark); two granddaughters, Kaitlin Bellace and Lizzie Bellace; and one great-grandchild, Jessalyn Frasca.
Charles was a kind and generous man who touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him and will be sincerely missed. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 12PM at Palm Beach National Chapel, 10055 Heritage Farms Rd, Lake Worth, FL 33449. Burial with military honors, a fitting tribute to his service, will follow at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL. The family will receive family and friends immediately following the burial ceremony at 7177 Brickyard Circle, Lake Worth, FL 33467 (utilize Hypoluxo Road entrance and enter *1998 for gate entry).
