Catherine Janet Hoekstra, 85, of Boynton Beach, FL passed away on May 20, 2017. Born in Preakness, NJ to Jacob and Ruth Schuurman, she was married to the love of her life, Charles, for 61 years before his passing in 2012.

Survived by her children, Steve (Roseann), Bruce (Sandra), and Larry; daughter-in-law, Lisa; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She also leaves her sister, Mildred Sonnema to cherish her memory. Catherine was preceded in death by Charles; their son, Barry; and 5 siblings.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated at Seacrest Presbyterian on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.
Catherine will be laid to rest at South Florida National Cemetery with her husband in a private ceremony.
