Catherine Marie (Sohl) Friery, 83, of Wellington, Fl, entered into eternal rest Friday on July 15, 2022, at Palms West Hospital. She is survived by her children William J. Friery III, Mary C. Friery, and grandchildren Michael A. Covert, Elizabeth M. Covert, and Christopher J. Castillo. Preceded in Death by her husband William J. Friery Jr. of 43 years, sister Margaret A. Ernest (Sohl).

Catherine was born January 7, 1939, in New York, New York, the daughter of Robert Bernard and Mary Therese (McElheney) Sohl. She graduated from Good Shepard High School in 1957. Started working as a phone company rep to help support her family. She met her husband William(Bill) at a friend's wedding where they each served in the wedding. Started dating, traveling with friends, then eventually got married on September 13, 1970. She retired from the phone company as a Rep Supervisor in the Repair department. Moved along with her family to Long Pond, Pennsylvania in the summer of 1990, then moved to Royal Palm Beach, Florida in 1993. Finally settled in Wellington in April 1999. She donated to many charities, including St Jude hospital and Alzheimer's Association.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her name as this agency was very dear to her heart since the passing of her husband.

Visitation will be held at the Palm Beach National Chapel on August 5, 2022 from 10:30am – 11:30am, Service to follow at 11:30am. Burial will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery at 1:30pm.
