Casimir (Bill) Zawadecki (1945 - 2025) of Boynton Beach, FL passed peacefully on January 9th, 2025 at his current residence.

He was born in Ukraine, lived in Poland, and came to this country as a teenager. He attended both Monroe Community College and SUNY Brockport where he graduated with a bachelor's degree. While at college, he played soccer and achieved All-American honors and was also inducted into the Monroe Community College Sports Hall of Fame.

He had a successful career at Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, NY. He is a Vietnam Veteran who served his country proudly. He was an active member of the Ukrainian / American community of Rochester, NY, especially St Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church where he volunteered, and helped organize events, such as the annual Ukrainian Arts and Crafts festival.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing, coaching and refereeing soccer.  His hobbies also included travelling, gardening, growing orchids, playing cards, participating in the bowling league, stamp collecting, listening to music, and wild mushroom picking.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary, son and daughter Paul and Christina, sister Helen, granddaughter Natalia, daughter-in-law, Paula, brothers-in-law, Steve and Peter, nieces Patricia, Teresa, Christine, and Larisa, as well as his nephew, Stephen, Jr.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 10 AM to 12:45 PM at Palm Beach National Chapel, 10055 Heritage Farms Road, Lake Worth, Florida 33449.  A Funeral Service will be held at 12:45 PM in the funeral home chapel, with burial following at 2 PM at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL. Flowers may be delivered to Palm Beach National Chapel, or in lieu of flowers, we kindly ask donations be made in loving memory of Casimir Zawadecki to St Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Rochester, NY or St Nicholas Melkite Greek Catholic Church in Delray Beach, FL.
