Canio (Charlie) Louis DiBenedetto age 93, entered eternal rest on June 16th, 2023. He was married to his loving wife Virginia, who predeceased him two years ago. He leaves behind his two sons, Charles and Nicky, and daughter Joan, his adoring grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, and many nieces and nephews. Charlie was a United States Marine and served his country proudly. He was a successful business owner in Brooklyn, NY, where he lived until retiring and moving to Boca Raton. He lived his life with honor, dignity, kindness, and love and was adored by all who knew him. He loved his horses and was a diehard NY Mets fan. He was also an amazing chef. All loved him, and his family and friends will greatly miss him.
Donations
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, which was dear to his heart.
