Betty Jane Mintzer
Of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of AuSable Forks, NY died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday , August 16, 2013. She was born on January 25, 1931 in Amsterdam, NY to Ada and Robert Edmonds. Betty was predeceased by her husband Lester Mintzer.
She is survived by her children, David Mintzer of Amsterdam, NY, Gary Mintzer of Boynton Beach, FL, Mark Mintzer (Bonnie) of Vero Beach, FL and Paul Mintzer (Marilee) of Vero Beach, FL; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren and her companion Joseph (Lefty) Sochurek. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Vitas-Innovative Hospice Care, 1901 S. Congress Ave., Suite 420, Boynton Beach, FL 33426. Private burial will be held at Hagaman Cemetery in Hagaman, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of the Palm Beach National Chapel in Lake Worth, FL.
