Betty Gravens, 91, of Delray Beach, FL went to be with Jesus on January 4, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with Primary Lateral Sclerosis. She is survived by husband Robert Gravens, son Bruce Gravens, daughter Elaine Eckel, son Mark Gravens, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and sister Neva Barton. She is preceded in death by son Kent Gravens, sisters Loretta Cherry and Lois Hale, and brother Richard Simpson.

Betty was born April 19, 1931 to Gladys and Basil Simpson in Foley, MO. She married Robert Gravens on February 2, 1951 and enjoyed almost 72 years of marriage raising three sons, a daughter and one nephew, Jess Hannar. Betty taught 3-year-olds at Little Friends pre-school for many years. She enjoyed travel, gardening, sewing, and cooking. She was an active and enthusiastic member of First Baptist Church of Delray Beach since 1967.
