Barbara Ann Newman, 84, of Jupiter, FL, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 7,
2025. She is survived by her children, Barbara DeLoreto (Tom) and Robert Newman. Also left
to cherish her memory are three grandchildren, Justin Jaekel, Jennifer Miller (Doug), and Thomas
Newman; 5 great-grandchildren Tommy Jaekel, Colton Miller, Lily Miller, Makenzie Newman
and Porschelne Newman and siblings Robert Duplessis (Michele) and Roberta DeLorenzo
(Larry). She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Elmer Newman; siblings Marie Liatto,
Alice Menard, Rosanna Donohue, William Donohue, and parents Alice Donohue and Dominic
Donohue.

Barbara, our sweet angel, was born on September 27, 1940, in New York City. She moved to
West Palm Beach, FL, in 1962 after marrying Elmer. They welcomed daughter Barbara in 1963
and son Robert in 1965. Barbara was a stay at home mom/wife for many years. Prior to moving
to Florida, she worked on Wall Street.

Barbara was the kindest person and was known as Nanny to all her loved ones. Her family
always came first, and she was happiest when surrounded by her grandchildren. She was a
devout Catholic and rarely missed a Sunday mass. She was proud of her Irish heritage. She
loved celebrating every holiday and had special traditions for all the holidays and birthdays. Her
hobbies included baking, cake decorating, gardening, and crafting.
