Anselmo Medina of Royal Palm Beach, FL. Went to sleep in death on February 28, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mirtha as well as his three adult children, Perry, Diana and Albert. Also cherishing his wonderful memory are his five adult grandchildren, Albert, Jr., Jordan, Lana, Jeremy and Julianna. Anselmo was blessed with two great-grandchildren Desiree and Jaiden as well.
Anselmo also loved to work in his garden and collect things of old.  His granddaughter wrote this poem about him.
The Collector

He was the collector
Of all things old and sometimes new
Always priceless.
Did he know that he collected hearts?
That he collected lives?
That his laugh and his funny noises run through our veins…
That his banging coffee pots at 4 a.m. would ring in our ears.
Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather.

His strength-amazing, independent
Except for that old nemesis-
the right cuff button.
But gentle, soothing, calming.
An understanding without many words.
Just enough Polo Cologne to compliment his black shoes with silver buckles, ironed shirt and slacks or his Guayabera uniform.

But now, Jehovah God has collected you in to his memory.
He knows you better than any of us did.
So he will pick you up, polish you, restore you, and return you.
Yes, we will collect many things together, all new, all beautiful, for all eternity.
