Anne Armistead Watlington passed from this life peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2016. She was the beloved daughter of James E. Watlington and Martha Dunn Carr and the cherished wife of Kendall Ropp. She will be lovingly missed by her sister Beth Marchant and her husband Ry, nephew Reilly Marchant and wife Lizzy (Gehr), niece Meg Marchant, aunt Betsy Mebane and uncles Everett Dunn and Jim Dunn (Rachel) and all of her extended family and friends, especially Monette, Jinx and Peggy. Born in Richmond, VA on November 14, 1955, she attended Collegiate School and Mount Vernon College. After spending two memorable years in Breckenride, CO, she returned to Richmond to work at Todd's Hams for Churchill Young and later operated her business known as The Catery. With her husky, Tosh, and her cat Chessie, she moved to south Florida where she put her artistic talents to work as Watlington Artworks. She met her husband, Kendall, in 2000, and they lived in Delray Beach, blissfully in love, until her untimely death. May God bless you and bring you into his loving arms forever.
