Anne M. Best, 73, of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Anne was the beloved wife of Larry Best for 41 years, devoted mother to Jamie and Brett, and cherished grandmother to August. Being a mother and grandmother was central to Anne's life, and Anne showed her love through steady presence, generosity, and care.

Anne was deeply committed to service and community. Anne was on the Board of Directors of the Villaggio Pap Corps for over 10 years, a cause she deeply cared about. Anne was also active in the National Council of Jewish Women, where she worked with young adults transitioning from foster care, and served as Chairperson of the Villaggio Tennis Support Group. Anne loved playing tennis, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She was known by those closest to her for her kindness, warmth, and support of others.

Guests are invited to A Gathering in Loving Memory of Anne at the Palm Beach National Funeral Home and Chapel, 10055 Heritage Farms Rd., Lake Worth Beach, Florida (northwest corner of Hypoluxo Road and State Road 441), on Monday, February 9, between 2:00–4:30 PM, to greet the family and say farewell to Anne. Coffee and pastries will be served, and guests are encouraged to wear casual attire.

Anne will be laid to rest at a family-only burial at the South Florida National Cemetery at a later date.
