Anna Eckert, 97 years old, of Pompano Beach, Florida, died peacefully with comfort of family present on March 16, 2023. Anna was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Anna was born on May 3, 1925 in New York, NY and married for 71 years to the love of her life, Norman. They had 2 children, Thomas and Maureen. She is survived by her daughter. Anna grew up in New York amongst her loving brothers and extended family, becoming an administrative assistant in the medical field before moving to Florida 33 years ago.

She was the matriarch of the entire family, our guardian angel. We all were so blessed as she loved with her heart and soul and in return was truly loved by all. She was known for being a wonderful cook, hosting holiday dinners and parties. Her pleasure was feeding you! You could always find her in the kitchen.
